ANNUAL SURF TO SUMMIT HILL CLIMB ASCENT.

I'm getting old...it was tougher this year.  Unfortunately gravity and Newton's laws refused to help me out by taking a short break.  

At the 2/3rd mark....enroute to 6000 feet.  I felt like calling for emergency assistance.

THE REWARD AT THE TOP...beer never tasted so good.  (Greg Solman agreed)

ANNUAL SANTA MONICA CLASSIC 10K RUN (start line)

 This year we had Arcy and Karri join us...(below is Colleen with Arcy).   All three girls (Colleen, Arcy, and Karri) logged their very first 10k today (20 MAY 2012) ....they all did great...no one quit and great pace all the way.

The final 1k was faster than I expected Colleen to kick...she did great.

Finish line....happy faces. 

 Colleen's latest craft projects....bracelet, gnome, dog, blanket, and snail.

 Roses are in cycle once again...the yellow roses in the middle bloomed late...now they are even bigger than the pink roses.

This blanket is actually quite heavy and warm.
